💭 Poll Time: One-Off Stories vs Long Series?

Hey loves 💋

You know I absolutely adore writing the slow-burn, multi-chapter stories—they’re my bread and butter, the ones that let us sink into temptation and watch it build layer by layer. But… I also really enjoy the thrill of a fast, hot, one-off story. Something that gives you a nice girthy 14–18K words of pure heat in a single release.

Here’s what I’ve been considering…
Potentially once we catch up and finish Tag Team(ed) and His Sisters Revenge, I’d like to be more disciplined and only run one multi-chapter story at a time, instead of juggling 3 or 4 all at once. Then I could mix things up by dropping single-update one-off stories every other week. Some of these might even get a sequel if you all scream loud enough for one 😏.

How would that look? IF Tag Team(ed) is a 4 chapter story. Then during a period of 8 weeks, we would get the full 4 chapters released of Tag Team(ed), along with 4 completely unique, single-update, one-off stories. Switching between the two types each Friday. For clarification, I consider Blacked Mirror to count as a one-off update short story, as each story is a unique stand alone.

*Also, I am not including bonus content in this. Member Stories, Interactive stories, etc will always continue to remain as bonus content...Not part of our main Friday release schedules.

So here’s my question for you:

👉 Would you be excited to see more single-update stories mixed in with just one ongoing longer story?
Or do you prefer sticking with multiple long stories running at the same time?

Comments

I would like perhaps 2 long-form stories ongoing, with different setups and stories, and then 3, maybe 4 quickies. I prefer longer stories as it is, the quickies are like popsicles.

The individual chapters of the longer stories are sometimes enough for multiple sessions but often not. I prefer to have another chapter to go to when needed...
