However, I see very little participation, which makes me think it's not generating interest in the community.
If so, would you prefer I cancel that post and do a game over like every month? Or would you prefer me to focus more on the game's development instead of focusing more on fan service development (Halloween skins, Game Over)?

As as much I love all the work so far, I do agreed with the many that we would like to see the game development through. Can't wait to purchase, and play the full game. If the community wants to play along, so be it, they've paid to earn the right to participate. If not, well, it's their choice, you're free to do your own thing with no worries. If you feel participation is minimal enough to warrant not getting it done and instead focusing more on development, that's a completely valid choice.
