2025-07-05 01:15:05 +0000 UTCIf you wanna know how Kevin even got in the room to begin with he used Big Chill’s Intangible Power to be stealthy and to not concern his mom who is the only person he actually knows he can trust despite being not in the right state of mind. Something to also note is he does have the 5 Aliens power and strength unified but doesn’t have access to those aliens powers because in a way they are similar to ones that Ben had possessed previously. The longer he stays as a kaju the more warped his mind will become until it’s too late before he thinks everyone is his enemy which is what Paradox was trying to warn him about because it’s not gonna be like when he was a kid.

2025-06-03 19:39:59 +0000 UTCThis whole Kevin Arc is actually supposed to conclude Ben and Kevin’s Rivalry when he was a kid and Ben still hasn’t forgiven him and has some leftover feelings towards that and like he said in the episode they never really sat down and talked about it and neither did Kevin. However Kevin wanted to talk about and put more of effort into addressing it more than Ben did. Ben as you know has a huge ego problem and despite him having mature moments and learning his lesson that’s just in his personality he’s a hot head. So when he saw Kevin absorbing the Ultimatrix once again he felt betrayed and thought he’d leave that part of him behind and choose this route instead of finding an alternate solution to stop Aggragore like a hero would and not the old him would. So Ben’s Ego is a huge reason why he’s mad about this whole thing believing now that time they spent together was a lie and he had really changed despite giving him a second chance. Kevin is angry because Ben isn’t thinking about how he feels and isn’t putting as much effort into their friendship as he’d like him to despite Ben mentioning he thinks of him like an Older Brother he doesn’t fully view him as a hero but someone trying to quit his old ways but is struggling. For example whenever Kevin thinks about money over Gwen or going off on his own not telling them. Ben takes note of all that and knows intentions are good but wish he wouldn’t do shady things to accomplish saving the day. So both Kevin & Ben’s Rivalry will conclude with this arc because it never had proper ending to it back In the original series which people mocked Alien Force for not doing. Instead he just switches side with ease and they are all buddies now after the first episode of the show. So id say treat this as part of the OG Series and how that dynamic would have come to a close in that series if it didn’t end after season 4.

I do think Ben’s taking things more seriously, which is good, but I still wasn’t a fan of how he said it. I get there’s history and tension, but this is his friend, and he knows what the Osmosian powers can do. I just feel like if anyone deserves a bit more understanding, it’s Kevin. Still really liked the setup though!

Kevin can't be just let do whatever he wants so he must be defeated and Ben is now older and he is taking stuff more seriously than he did as a kid. 2025-05-29 16:41:13 +0000 UTCIf you recall, Paradox specifically pulled Kevin away last season and said “things worse before they get better”, which was foreshadowing for this arc, plus him saying he trusts Ben to do what needs to be done in the future. I think Ben is just realizing the gravity of the situation and actually taking a major threat more seriously than ever, plus there’s already that animosity between them even if they’re like brothers now. It’s tough, but Ben’s just trying to take a stand and protect everyone else.
