Kamen Rider Geats Episode 33-34 Reaction

Let the Desire Royale begin! As a Buffa fan, it's amazing seeing him get his shine.

PS. I saw there was a little more at the end. It asked if the DGP will continue to exist or not, so I guess I was on the right track. I'll keep this in mind for the future episodes. XD

Enjoy.

Buffa's upgraded Fever form is officially titled "Buffa Jyama-shin (Jyama God)". It's a reference to how the winner of the DGP is called the Deza-shin (Desire God).

Personally I always think Kosei's (Neon's father) action is pretty well written. The death of Akari affect both spouse differently. Irumi felt into denial, thus organizing a birthday party with no one being there. Kousei, on the other hand, felt like he's lost the sense of being "in control", which is pretty on brand for a CEO of a huge company. Despite his wealth and influence, he couldn't change the outcome of his daughter fate. I think the dread of losing his agency is why he refused Niram offer to erase his own memory. The guy's still a dick, but his actions in a way make sense if looking from that angle. Here's an easter that often get lost in the English translation, Akari means light, and Neon is a man made light. The series hint at her true nature basically from episode 1. Also show how Kosei refuse to see her as a "real daughter" by naming her Neon

civets are most common in southeast asia (indonesia, thailand, vietnam, that general area). they're related to mongooses and distantly related to felines, so calling her a cat wasnt too far off I guess. it's like calling geats a dog I guess. I think the thing people most know civets for is the type of coffee harvested from the feces of civets that have eaten the raw beans (though I believe thats a different species of civet, not the masked palm civet that sara's based on)

Zoe Breeden

Same here. That's a new animal to me. XD

Thanks for the explanation. I talk about it in the next video. ;)

I definitely want to check it out. I think I'll do it once we finish up Geats. Appreciate the heads up, bro.

Most Kamen Rider series in recent years do a lot of spinoff episodes and movies. Right about now in the series is when they published spinoff episode on their website called Kamen Rider PunkJack to explain what happened to him from when you last saw him in the series until his upcoming appearance (now that they showed you his ID core hinting at his return). It also provides some background info for the character. Just letting you know in case you want to find it sometime.

To explain a bit about Kekera, his main motive is to turn Keiwa into the "perfect" embodiment of a Kamen Rider. In his definition, the perfect Kamen Rider is one who is plunged into despair and hides all their pain behind a mask. However, a Kamen Rider is actually the opposite, while despair is a key part of their character, they don't just embody it. Instead, they become a hero to ensure that no one else has to go through what they did. The main four supporters also represent the audience in some way. Kekera wants all the Kamen Riders to have a dark tone and be edgy, allowing for no hope for the main character, while only wanting the Kamen Riders to align with their own ideals for their own entertainment. Zinn, on the other hand, shows how fans can move from season to season, focusing solely on the entertainment aspect without understanding the deeper meaning of the story. Kamen Rider Wizard Quote Wizard : "Even if our power is the same that evil uses I turned despair into hope. And I became..." Kid : "You became a Kamen Rider?" Wizard : "It's not just us. Whenever evil wields power a Kamen Rider will appear. Every single time!"

Ah shit here comes the beginning of Kekeras schemes Sara’s animal is a.. masked palm civet, which I’ve never heard of before this show but based on images, it seems to be more in line with Tanukis
