My Dad taught me about the consequences of WW2 at age 7 by making me watch Schindler’s List. It's a learning experience, but it's not fun...

It deals with subject matter we must learn about and remember as a cautionary warning for the future. But it is intense, and heartbreaking at times. If you watch it, you'll want to schedule another frivolous comedy soon after for a palate cleanser.

2025-03-13 22:05:51 +0000 UTCI voted Schindler's List. Empire of the Sun (1987) and Minority Report (2002) are good movies, but Schindler's List (1993) is one of the best movies of all time. Hook (1991) is a distant last for me.
