That would make her a fascinating metaphysical flip side to Coyote's revelations about his existence. How she came to be and how she came to be human-shaped so long before any life on Earth existed at all, dunno. But blank-faced Jones and grinning Coyote are poles of something big.

Still, even if humans created Coyote and the rest, I don't see how they would have created Jones, or rather why. She doesn't really DO anything that humans need, unlike gods and myths which provide explanation and entertainment and symbolism. Unless she's somehow a personification of history, or objectivity, or something.
