Dahlia leaned against the grimy bathroom sink, trying to steady her breath. The pounding bass of the club reverberated through the walls, making her already-frazzled nerves jangle. It had been a hellish week of finals at Magic University, and her studies in Size Magic were pushing her to the brink. She needed to blow off steam, and tonight was supposed to be her chance to forget all the stress.
She reached into her enchanted clutch, fumbling for the energy potion she always kept for emergencies. Her body still buzzed from hours of dancing, sweat glistening on her skin. She unscrewed the small bottle and gulped it down without a second thought.
The change was immediate.
A searing heat spread through her veins, like liquid fire coursing under her skin. Her vision blurred as a strange tingling took over every inch of her body. Panic surged—this wasn’t her energy potion.
“Oh no,” she whispered, realization dawning. “The shrink elixir!”
Her knees buckled as her body jolted downward, her perspective shifting violently. She was shrinking—fast. Her pulse raced, her mind screaming at her to do something, but every pulse of magic sent an overwhelming wave of euphoria crashing over her. She groaned, clutching the edge of the sink for balance, but her fingers slipped as another shrink knocked her down to half her size.
The heat was unbearable now, like an inferno consuming her from the inside out. She clawed at her shirt, yanking it off in a desperate attempt to cool down. Every inch she lost only made her shiver with pleasure. She gasped, biting her lip to keep from crying out.
“Where’s my phone?” she mumbled, her thoughts a chaotic swirl. She patted the floor, but the shrinking made it impossible to focus. “No… no, no, no!”
Another shrink hit her like a lightning bolt, and she couldn’t help the moan that escaped her lips. The sensations were too much, and her legs gave out beneath her.
“Hello?” A voice called from a nearby stall.
“Are you okay?”
Dahlia froze, her dwindling body trembling with a mix of panic and pleasure. She had to get help—had to stop this—but her limbs felt like jelly. She scrambled toward the stall, her tiny hands pounding weakly on the door.
“Help!” she cried, her voice breaking. “I can’t… I can’t stop shrinking!”
Before she could think, her body slipped under the gap of the stall door. She looked up at the towering figure of the woman sitting on the toilet, who stared back in shock, her phone already in hand.
“Oh my god,” the woman said, her mouth falling open.
Dahlia’s world spun as she continued to dwindle, her bare skin tingling as she shrank smaller and smaller. She reached out, grabbing at the woman’s leg for balance. “Please, I need your phone!” she begged, but her voice was high-pitched, almost squeaky now.
The woman’s shock turned into fascination. “This… this is wild,” she muttered, lifting her phone to snap a picture of the shrunken, writhing girl at her feet. “What the hell is happening?”
Dahlia whimpered, her body shuddering with another euphoric jolt. She was so small now—barely the size of a doll—and the shrinking still wasn’t stopping. Her eyes welled with tears as she clung to the woman’s foot.
“Please,” she whispered, “make it stop…”
