Progression-based Skill System

Over the past month or so, among one of the things I've been busy moving away from a traditional levelling system, and implementing a progression-based skill system. Basically, the more you do something specific, the more you level up skills related to that specific activity. The difficulty curve for levelling up skills is somewhat exponential - it's easy enough to progress skills in the first few levels, but hard to master it.

The names in the screenshot might change over time, but the majority of them are set and ready to go. Attributes basically act like skills, too. Depending on what you do, they will get XP and "level up".

For example, Fortitude will level up your max HP. One of the ways this skill/attribute levels up, is through naturally healing over time from damage. Using a healing potion will not count towards your Fortitude.

Going forward, I will be maturing this system and having more and more of those skills affect other aspects of the gameplay.
