I love overlord both the novels and the anime but in my opinion it doesn't get good until season 2

His skillset, his items, his defenses... ALL of it. if you didn't know your opponent like the back of your hand, you were bound to lose. That is the reason that Ainz clings to his secrecy, because he himself knows so little about this new world.
