Not to be that person, but queer relationships aren't necessarily picked up on as easy and rather seen as friendships, due to heteronormative standards. Although, as someone who did pick up on it within seconds I'm not sure I can say if it's actually that. In those situations I always ask myself and other people if the behavior would be seen differently when being heteroromantic.
