What's Next?? (Big Post)

So I want to talk about what I'm going to work on next.

First, I'm going to take this next week off (technically THIS week). I don't think I've had a break since before Christmas, so I'm just going to do it. I've definitely been suffering from burnout and some time off would be nice. I intend to be back at work June 5th.

Second, when I get back, I will be focusing my efforts on a game-project. In the last 18 months I've tried three game-projects. I've failed at every one of them - and I really do not like saying that. I really want to get at least one done, and I think I'm just going to take like 2 months to just 'cook' on it. I think I can make a great game-project, but I need to have that be my sole focus.

What that means for most patrons is that I won't be releasing any new comics for like... 2 months, while I work on that project. I just want to be clear about what you can expect to see. I wish I could do both at the same time, but I just can't. Every time I've tried, I've failed to do both at once, so this time I'm just going to tunnel the game-project.

Third, when I get back to working on comics, I haven't yet decided what I will do. However, I think I'm not going to do a 5-issue long series. >_< Tit for Tat was fun but I never thought I would spend so much time on it, or that it would be as long as it was. So next comic project ought to be 16-20 pages (not 5 issues of 16 pages). Some ideas I'm having is doing something like...

...a BattleRads - NINJAS! comic
...a sexy 90s X-Men comic
...a regular BattleRads comic
...some other dumb random idea

I'm hesitant to keep doing 'Miraculous' comics, but we'll see. I've seen lots of people wanting to see more Cat-Noir, wanting to see Marinette, Chloe, Juleka. I definitely have some stories I could do, but I like the idea of doing a comic or two that steps away from Miraculous stuff. But, I'm flexible. If you have a strong preference, let me know either in the comics or in a private message. If there's something you really want to see, let me know.

I really do read ALL of the comments (and messages). As an introvert I don't always know how to respond. But I absolutely read them.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to keep working on the Creeps vs. College visual novel I started on. I'm starting to realize that juggling two projects at a time is just not that feasible for me. I am also seeing that my schedule, in how I do work, needs adjusting. There's definitely things I could improve, both in terms of my own productivity, and in terms of what my patrons are getting.
