Rivencliff - Project Roadmap (08.09.2023)

Hey everybody!

Figured I give you guys an updated roadmap post!

The first draft for the script of Chapter 1 is completed and I have already reviewed it. Made some remarks and currently working it out with the writer. Once that is completed, the production of Chapter 1 can go full steam!

I am also currently talking to spxwlf.com to use their characters for Rivencliff! As their VRChat avatars are for personal use only, I'm talking to them about a custom license that allows use for a game like Rivencliff. As you can imagine, there will be other characters you'll meet in Rivencliff that might only be shown a few times or for a limited segment. Creating fully custom characters for those needs (from Concept Art, to Refsheet, 3D Sculpt, Texturing and Rigging) is waaay overkill and absolutely not in budget at the moment, so I will try to utilize some VRChat Avatars, give them a new paintjob and then they should be good to go!

Other than that I have added a couple items that need attention to the "Not Started" tab on the left.

* Updating CI / CD to ensure automated builds are being uploaded to itch.io.
* Granting you guys access to builds via itch.io (Uploading them here is a bit dangerous because of piracy websites that will collect posts like this one; Resident Patrons will continue to have access to nightly builds via Steam)
* Some UI work that needs to be done (mostly in the Main Menu and a Keybinds UI so you can use any keys you'd like)
* Some 3D works for the city of Rivencliff. I have some placeholders, but I think I would like to make them *a bit* nicer.
* And lastly some engine work that needs to be done in regards to looping backgrounds (the animated backgrounds you see in the Rivencliff tech demo are in fact videos, but getting them to seamlessly loop is a bit more tricky than anticipated, but I have a few ideas on how to tackle that),
