Story Pre-Production

Starting this week, story pre-production is running at full speed. Working with a professional writer to get the plot for the comic down to more specifics after providing them with the story synopsis and character descriptions already.

Reminder of the themes in this comic:

The exploration of various forms of love
Personal growth and self-discovery through relationships
The power of vulnerability and emotional connection
Trust, forgiveness, and acceptance in love
Balancing personal values within relationships

Funny enough, the comic still doesn't have a proper name. I'm thinking "Journey through Love", but we'll see.

Character Re-Texturing Efforts

The VisDev for the comic is also progressing great! While still ironing out some kinks, this is already pretty close to what I had in mind for the comic. Very stylized, flat colors, some cartoony elements and basic lighting. Atleast for characters. Backgrounds are probably gonna be another story.

The outlines look pretty nice already, but the workflow I have in mind will very likely include a manual pass on every image where I draw on top to add some missing lines, effects etc. I will probably explore this next week.

That's it for now! Busy work week ahead, so probably not getting as much done as I'd like, but welp, it is what it is.
