Firstly, the scene was initially much shorter, only being about 7 pages long, as opposed to the now 12-page long final scene. The original draft felt a little rushed though, and I wanted to push harder on Marve's paranoia.
The first draft also follows the original card-related story beat that was dropped. Tore was gonna talk to Marve about having wanted to play the game himself, but not known where to start, showing he might be interested in Marve teaching him.
020902+021102 - The designs for the incidental prey in these pages were not decided on while sketching, hence the basic, doofy-ass figures lol. I did know the second prey was gonna be a skunk though, cause I wrote in the script that he was stinky. The idea of Marve struggling to swallow someone stinky really amused me, but I knew I wasn't gonna dedicate an extended scene to it in any future chapter.
