i think IU caught my attention with her acting in The Producer. She is not exactly the main lead and her role is not that much but there are certain scenes that really impressed me. My Mister is the turning point imo, she totally rocks in it. and Hotel Del Luna shows that it is not a one time affair.

Even though I've already watched it thrice now 😅 It's definitely different from HDL, more serious and heavy for sure. Jian is a completely different character and of course IU absolutely nailed her role. I can't wait!

I also cannot wait for your reactions to My Mister. That is my all time favorite role of IU. She was incredible in that series.

I think you will be more amazed by her once we get into the more emotional heavy stuff in later episodes. My Mister is totally different from Hotel Del Luna. Everything about My Mister is great, the acting, the script, the cinematography, everything. It’s my all time favorite drama, I totally looking forward to your My Mister reaction! Side note, the scene with Man Weol and Mr Second Choice in the space is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in any drama🤣
