After episode 523 (I think) Specials become very rare.

I imagine it'll take you a while to start the 14-parter since there's three specials before it lol at least they're the 1-hour variety (aka, only 40 minutes long). It's kinda wild looking at this stretch of episodes. Like, TMS went all out during this stretch. Besides the 14-parter, they aired eight specials in the seven weeks before Clash of Red and Black started. Three were remasters, one just recapped the general plot of the anime at that point, and four new specials, one of which was an anime original (filler). Pretty much one of those "you had to be there" moments for Detective Conan
