Fraud and Declined Payments

Fraud:
So I've just blocked, and will continue to block, all the patrons whose payment information is tagged as fraudulent in my dashboard and patron manager. Best case scenario, you are having a problem understanding how to put in correct information, or have put in incorrect payment information into the patreon account. Worst case, you're entering fraudulent information to view content that is meant for those who actually contributed financially to its production, and that's not really fair to those people, you guys.

Declined:
For those of you with Declined payments, particularly those who try and pledge 15$ to enter the raffle and win a free comic page, I'm sorry, but pledging to the tier isn't enough to be entered into the raffle, your payments have to actually process to be entered. If you're short on money, which seems to be the most likely case if your card is being declined, then it's probably for the best, and I know I'd really appreciate it, if you switch to another tier you can afford or the public access tier. That way the numbers for my page about projected income don't get skewed, and slots will for the higher tier will be available for those who want them (Since the 15$ slots ARE limited access currently)


I know that most of you aren't acting maliciously in either of these circumstances, but there are a few of you who definitely are, and who seek to exploit access to this page. I see those of you who hop in for the last few minutes of the month, once all the feasible work that can be uploaded/completed for the month has been posted, who then quickly delete all of their pledges immediately after signing up. Some of you are on thin ice, and I'm probably going to begin blocking repeat offenders of this.

I also see those of you who continually make pledges and consistently fail to, at any tier, make a payment/contribute to the project. Now obviously this can't and won't always be a malicious act, but in some small cases, the repeat offenders who never change tiers and hope to recieve the benefits of their reward tiers, my dashboard and patron manager exposes you, and your lack of contributions, to me. I'm sorry, but you won't recieve the same pledge rewards others at the same tier make for their pledges if you aren't going to contribute, that's the entire reason I established this account, after all.

On that note, I want to thank each and every one of you that has pledged or who continues to pledge at each and every level, contributing to the funding and creation of these stories/comic pages. It means a lot to me, and I hope you're enjoying the content I've been providing.

Lastly:
Still not accepting paypal for access to this site. Paypal has some pretty shitty rules about selling or purchasing access to content of an adult, to be more specific, pornographic, nature.

Sorry for all the boring stuff  to those of you guys who are playing by the rules and helping out, obviously this isn't aimed at you and I'm not trying to be mean or rude, just trying to be fair to those of you who pay for the content. I'm running a business here, and it's important for me to know that those of you who continue to pledge aren't screwed over by the small minority of users who are actively trying to steal access to content the rest of you fairly and happily continue to pay for the production of.
