I made substantial progress on getting through those final chapters. Once the editor gets it back to me, which can take up to 6 weeks, I need to go through those corrections. Then the book goes to formatting, which will take a little bit. Plus, not to mention audio at that point.
We are going to be able to do audio for this book, which makes me super happy.
I still don’t have a date for release or anything like that. Especially since the cover is still on hold until our timeslot with the person I’ve gone with. I always forget how long it actually takes to do all of the steps from the draft of the book to an actual physical book in your hands.
Book two is coming right along, and I even fit in some writing last week with two episodes. They are off to my alpha reader to make sure nothing is too rough before they get added to the schedule. So much is happening in this portion of the book that I think this arc is going to be a little longer than anticipated.
Hopefully, ya’ll don’t mind.
I did a thing as well and have some lovely character artwork to post. Keep an eye out for that!
