Another fine week for writing, averaging 2000/day. I'm still waiting for the crash, but continue to enjoy this period of increased productivity!
This week, I finished off Chapter 3, Scenes Six and Seven: these include some naughty role-play, a serious discussion, and an unexpetedly saucy scene. Scene seven was intended to be entirely smut free, but whenever I stick David and Julia together in a room, they seem to end up doing terrible and wonderful things to each other. Shocking.
Scene Eight is well under way, and I expect--or at least hope--to have the first full draft of Chapter 3 done by the end of the week. I expect it'll come in at around 60-65k words - probably way too long! - hopefully I'll be able to trim it back a bit in the final edit.
Not included in the week's word count is the work done on You Want It Darker, a short story I've started. I'm expecting to finish that off over the next week or two--it's taking a little longer than expected but seems to be coming along nicely.
