OMG I was totally not expecting that to happen at all. I was so shocked and just a little annoyed cause this is the second show I've watched somewhat recently that killed off a main character. I've never understood how you can kill off a main character but that's just me. But other than that, I handled it very well since I am a jellyfish and I can't cry at things I should cry at. Also, I don't understand why they left two of the horses back at the cabin. Like they could have tied the two horses to the ones they were riding and tied Joel to the back of one of them to bring his body back to Jackson. Just saying. But other than the ending I enjoyed the episode, and I look forward to seeing how things are handled after losing Joel who was so important to the story. Also, I am someone that believes that there are other ways to get vengeance. I don't believe in killing someone else for vengeance but that mainly because I don't believe anyone should die no matter what they have done. I don't even believe in the death penalty (I get that from my grandma plus losing so many family members from a young age kind of traumatized me with that kind of thing). Anyways I look forward to the next episode.

Doesn't make it easier to handle though and I was a crying mess ๐ญ Also them using Ashley Johnson's (OG Ellie) song at the end was DIABOLICAL.

2025-06-12 15:46:48 +0000 UTCThis episode was so heartbreaking๐คง but the stress and anxiety you feel throughout the episode is so good lol they added the infected coming to Jackson and yes originally it was Tommy going with Joel and Dina was with Ellie. Tommy was unconscious when it was happening and he was not harmed during that. (No spoilers๐)
