It sounds to me like the listener broke off the relationship for their own reasons but it ended amicably. The speaker doesn't understand the listener's reasoning but respected the decision. Now after six months he can't live off of memories anymore and is desperate to get the relationship back. Like an addict, he tries any persuasion he can think of to appeal to the listener's kindness and mercy, hoping to get relief from his withdrawal symptoms. In a lot of traditional Msub stories, the character is subby in every aspect of the relationship. In real life, I don't believe that is always the case. There are a great many sexually submissive people that have dominant roles in other areas of their life, like finances or careers. Or, like me, will take on the dominant role only because the rest of the people in the room are even more submissive than I am, like my kids or coworkers. Once a more dominant person steps into the room, and I am confident it is someone I can trust, I am happy to step back and let them take over. The wheedling story makes room for this reality. At the risk of priming everyone who reads comments before their first listen... (you've been warned) Y'all. This is no MSUB audio. Instead, I think this plays out much juicier as a Wolf In Sheep's Clothing, "top from the bottom", *toxic ex* audio. Walk with me here. We could buy the wheedling trope at face value- we open with covert persuasion via trip down memory lane, and close with plenty of beautiful "pretty please" behaviors to substantiate the trope. However, what makes the traditional wheedler's win so sour/sweet for us to witness is that they usually have little to no leverage, have terrible odds, pose no threat to the power dynamic, and yet *still* manage to get what they want. Subby "ex" bf has an incredible amount of leverage! Sexual of course, but most importantly, emotional- I'd say a good 70% of the warming portion heavily leans on the emotional connection that Subby "ex" and Listener share! More to that point, Subby "ex" knew we weren't going to have real problems with A) home invasion LOL B) boundary violation C) disrespect of our decision making! Subby "ex" is just too comfortable in our bed to fully sell the role he's playing, especially after 6 months of time apart. He starts off genuine, romantic and reminiscent to disarm us, but gains confidence and momentum with every "yellow light" Listener gives him (as an aside, I honestly think Listener gave green lights all but once, but lets engage in /some/ suspension of disbelief for original prompt's sake). Even in the light hearted jests, there shines an air of arrogance. -"Have you found another guy who could do that for you?" Scarcity mindset... from an MSub to a FemDom? Mmm, hard sell. -"I knew I could make you laugh", but then he backs off and returns to the worship. -"Just say yes... oh I was really hoping you were going to say yes!" Comfortable enough to make demands, realizes the mistake, then back pedals to "hopes and wishes". No bites here! Now, lets think of the facts. We don't know the nature of the breakup, but we do know it's been 6 months low/no contact. We didn't ask for the key back... for 6 months? Foul play I tell you! Last but not least, the big hitter: "You don't feel like we should?" DIRECTLY INTO "Who says you shouldn't sleep with your ex... I think God would want you to be happy, though" and with that, we are immediately into sensual physical persuasion! If there's a light between yellow and red, it doesn't matter because Subby "ex" floored on through it anyways. Totally toxic, and our Listener is eating it up! This is where I cry Wolf.
