Sketchbook ✿ June photo dump

This month I started using a new sketchbook! These past few weeks (maybe even months) I’ve been feeling pretty blocked. I started disliking my current art while missing how I used to draw… basically, sabotaging myself.

When that happens, one of my strategies is to switch up the tools I use. So while going through my old sketchbooks looking for some inspiration, I found a Talens Art Creation notebook I had completely forgotten about. For some reason, I had assumed markers wouldn’t work well on it since it’s a pretty affordable one, but I was so wrong! Markers look amaaaazing on it!

Around the same time, I also started playing Zelda EoW, and between the two things, I got this sudden rush of ideas. I started using different greens, which I usually don’t use much and that made me think of the kappas I used to draw a while ago.
