This battlemap completely swallowed me up in its details.
When I started sketching something inspired by a few DaggerHeart species, I really wanted to keep those surreal, fantasy vibes strong. There aren't many variations this time, since the illustration is big and packed with storytelling elements. It works great for a swamp, a mushroom cave, or even just a casual stroll through the Underdark!

About the Map
A fungal path winds its way into a sort of walkable platform. Nothing too weird if only your feet didn’t stick to it, and if it weren’t surrounded by huge mushrooms that might not be exactly friendly. The whole area is dotted with giant ruins and broken statues with ambiguous features, like a strange collection of leftovers after an explosion. Everything is lit by glowing bioluminescent fungi. And who knows, maybe you’ll need to roll to survive some nasty spores.One alt version of the map replaces the platform with a swampy pool, just to make things a bit tougher.
I really hope you like it! I spent a lot of time drawing this one, and I’d love to play it in a good, exploration-heavy session full of survival rolls.
