I have chosen one image that gives a vision of what happens between the design of a map (or token) and its final rendering.
However, today, I would like to tell you about another background regarding the page.
I started this adventure with an enthusiasm that still belongs to me today. I can't be happier than that, and I will always thank you for being a part of this journey! Now I wonder if the time has come for some balances. For example, the gallery is growing, and I was thinking of limiting it to a set number of months. 12 or 18 months.
Why? You might ask.
1. I find it correct that those who have signed up for a long time can enjoy the exclusivity of the oldest packages, which would no longer be available here.
2. Editing and managing master posts is starting to get a little cumbersome.
3. No less relevant, more and more frequent I meet supporters who unsubscribe after a few hours (the time to collect what they can) and then come back and repeat the trick.
However, I would like to guarantee a good collection to all newcomers, but I also believe it is right to protect my work as well as give you the power to have pieces that will no longer be available for free, especially for those who don't like the rules very much. XD
I want to know what you think. Blocking some scam users makes no sense to me.
My page is not a shop and I don't want to limit the access to anyone. I believe that whoever decides to join shall feel FREE to stay or leave anytime. No matter what. One minute, one hour, one day, I respect their freedom and I'm living in peace with it because I do respect any kind of background. I'm the first one to give or offer free art when asked with kindness and respect. But, certain attitudes, when intentionally malicious, demoralize me a bit.
Ah, I'm a bit Drama Queen Today, my bad :P
What do you think about it?
Your opinion matters a lot to me.
There wouldn't be real changes on the page. Much more simply I would delete maps older than X months from the archive. So, this post, in addition to asking for your opinion could help invite you to save your older work, in case you haven't already!
Soon I will program the March agenda and you will make me happy if you want to participate!
Thank you so much for your attention,
Love,
Ren.
UPDATES:
I'm glad i didn't let the moment to take over.
I also had a conversation once with a colleague. They told me that the fact anyone could join, and have access to the full-library, could be a form of disrespect to all the elder users. This sentence could hit me and stick on my brain that time. Because my intention was to focus on my art, and letting people enjoy what I could offer.
So, I want to make clear that, writing this post, i was sincerely looking for your opinions. And you all have been amazing. Thank you
I don't want to limitate the opportunities of many cause of the bad attitude of a few.
And I'm glad to hear all you had to say about it!
