Alligators are black and Crocodiles are usually a lighter grayish brown. The writers of this movie could have probably looked some stuff up lmao Also, what’s the difference between an Alligator and Crocodile? One will see you later and one will be you in a while!

Before I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy and I could still walk, I nearly stepped on an alligator hiding in the tall grass on the farm we lived at when I was little. Later in life, I was home alone when this huge alligator sauntered up our driveway like it was working the runway on Drag Race. Terrifying! Having said all that, I do enjoy this movie a lot and Betty White was such inspired casting. Loved Chey's crocodile puns!

I hope you react to Jaws 2 soon and if ya love campy sequels 3 and 4 fit the bill. Other sea terror movies include Orca, Tenticles , Pirahna and Alligator. I think Alligators are native to the US and not found anywhere else.
