That was the name on the medical bracelet when Harmony was tearing her place apart. I could not wait for you to get the Gemma/Ms Casey reveal. They had referred to her as a part-time employee so I wonder if she is onsite in a coma (?)

You being suspicious of Burt G and finding Irving's corporate asslicking annoying was totally for the best because it made their character arcs so much powerful and satisfying and I can totally see how others will experience it that way too. When Irving said "Let's burn this place to the ground." and you all cheering, it made me so elated. I forgot and didn't fully realize how powerful that moment is for Irving because he was the biggest Kier stan and it was basically his religion so for him to turn his back on it for love was muwah. Homophobis and cockblocking really radicalized him and that is so funny hahaha.

2024-12-29 21:42:24 +0000 UTCThat finale is a gagathon. I can’t contain my excitement for season 2. It’s been 84 yearrrssss. Long comment incoming: My theory on Cobel and also Gemma/Ms. Casey is that Cobel has always been at Lumon for her own agenda. Plus she lives by Mark and pokes/prods with his life because she specifically wants to prove that a person who “dies” a.k.a. is rendered brain dead can be brought back AND reintegrated via the severance procedure. In episode 8, you see her holding a ventilator tube with a hospital bracelet saying “Charlotte Cobel” (perhaps sister or child or mother). I think Gemma was probably being kept alive by machines after her accident and Mark had to “pull the plug” (so he believes her to be dead) except Lumon took her to experiment with. Cobel is hoping that Gemma/innie Mark *will* remember each other because then there’s hope for Cobel and her loved one. She very obviously wasn’t happy when Milchick said “it’s good they don’t remember each other, it means the chips work”. So she sent her back down to the testing floor to try something else when they bring her back.

The baby thing is terrifying, imagine being the severed woman who has to endure the late painful, possibly dangerous, part of being pregnant, the actual delivery, over and over again. You may have knowledge of the children you gave birth to, but after your Severance you will be turned off til the next time. You never will see your kids again. The more I think about that the more horrific it becomes. I love Dylan and am worried about him. The categories on that computer screen showed the different forms of Severance. They are overtime which we have seen but the others I can guess at. One is Beehive. What could that mean? As in attack like a swarm? One is branch transfer which sounds self explanatory, except for the innie who is transferred, perhaps with no warning. Clean Slate sounds ominous. Elephant would mean that the innie would have like a photographic memory of everything. Glasgow, again, sounds ominous, but could also be a comic relief? Goldfish, I really can't think of what that could be. Lullaby sounds easy. Open house could mean that more than one person is in your brain? Perhaps a person who is physically dead, but their chip is in a living person? This last one, Freezeframe, may be the most important. It would give you a snapshot image of an event, which you could study in detail and plan or prepare a response. But Freezeframe could also be used in planning a crime. I'm sorry this so long, this show is fascinating🎃🎃🎃🎆🎆🎆
