2020-11-03 02:01:05 +0000 UTCso an update on this I have just come up against a fundamental floor in my logic. so im guessing they are actually RGB LED's now I know that the encoder can actually change the colour too. this means they probably dont have a common ground. so it may not actually be possible to keep the original system in place and I may very well need to rethink it.

So I would do that but I think I have a solution hopefully. I'm getting in contact with the designer of the board. see what they have to say. Hopefully they will have an answer. My plan of making a ribbon cable is troublesome as gnd points are all over the cable. So if I don't in touch with the person who designed it. I'll probably re make the bus boards haha. Toallow for quicker switching and talking to the controller
