We need your input!
Added 2021-08-07 12:04:25 +0000 UTCHey all, I need your help.
I made a survey/rank voting thing to help gain a perspective on what TTRPG Genre people like. I'd like to ask you to genuinely rank your preferences with it. Please don't just rank everything as 5 with the thought of "I don't care what you play!" This doesn't help us, in fact it makes it worse.
We're looking for people to rank honestly here. And your input is appreciated. Our goal with this is to make sure we're going the right direction in our planning. So far everything seems green, but we always like to check with all of you.

Thank you for helping us out.

Cthulhu, battletech, vampire, something with enough to limit your character to make you work for it and not just be OP, but with enough lore and such to make it fun and play off your comedic strengths.

2021-08-13 12:41:25 +0000 UTCLovecraftian stuff would be nice, something like Delta Green? But diesel and steam punk settings would be awesome too.

2021-08-08 07:30:47 +0000 UTCI would love for you guys to try shadowrun if you're open to it. I'm sure you know what it is, but for those that don't it's an amalgamation of traditional fantasy and corporate dystopian Sci-Fi. Think trolls in powerarmour with giant machineguns. Elves running magic mafias. Ghouls and undead running organ trading rings. There's also awakened ai called sprites in the AR that is literally EVEREHERE, and is the new internet.

2021-08-07 22:32:16 +0000 UTCSick to death of medieval fantasy but most if those seem like good choices that haven't been mined to death.

2021-08-07 20:24:09 +0000 UTCOh, Cthulhutech could be interesting. Plus I can't say no to Lovecraftian monsters.

2021-08-07 18:05:18 +0000 UTCDieselpunk defo, would have voted for urban fantasy if that was there too, so was wondering if it would be something like Call of Cthulhu, World of Darkness, Paranoia, Planescape, all that kind of thing, anything that would let you mix a surreal setting with dark comedy. Ever since I read Terry Pratchett and China Mieville’s works I’ve had an appreciation for weird fantasy stuff

2021-08-07 17:26:52 +0000 UTCI think you can combine either or both dieselpunk and steampunk into Western if you wanted to.

2021-08-07 13:19:02 +0000 UTCCall of Cthulhu has a western supplemental setting, I'd love to see that played out. Also there's Fate of Cthulhu, it's the fate system, but the setting is that your time travelers from the future working to stop Cthulhu from destroying the world. I'm also a big fan of Starfinder. The setting is a is like Star wars, Star Trek, and Star Craft, all thrown into a blender, served on top of a high fantasy setting, with other sci-fi bits on the side. If you couldn't tell I voted for sci-fi and Western as my favorites. I tried to to rank my votes, having no more than two in a tier.
