I'm not totally up to speed on Star Wars or Disney goin after people hosting dnd games, I would kill to see warhams engage in star wars as a sith or Jedi and Mandalorian warband.

I have been seriously devastated by the impacts of GW business decisions, I honestly rely on content creators like you, Luiten, Oculus Imperia, and Baldermort to relax in the evening... That being said, might I suggest a new safe harbor universe to play in would be the Cthulhu Mythos. People seem to still really enjoy Call of Cthulhu in the US, and even more internationally. Call of Cthulhu is even bigger than D&D in Japan. This could protect you guys from BIG MEDIA forever. The Cthulhu Mythos setting isn't as big or well curated as Warhammer because it couldn't be trademarked. The is somewhat paradoxically the reason Warhammer could get so big; by controlling its assets, and it has only now it has decided to strangle itself in earnest. The greed and hubris enraging, but they could see the writing on the wall. Their plastic crack will be supplanted by 3D printers; maybe not now but soon. People don't read books, but people watch youtube. So they thought the next step was to make their own youtube and pick and choose who lives or dies. This is -- somewhat less nefariously -- like what CollegeHumor did with their Dropout service. They are going to learn quickly, that the animators won't be able to keep up for the cost they charge for their service, and the next step will be sweeping up the lore masters as well. Mark my words, if they think they can get away with forcing lore masters into their service (or major-killing their channel), they are going to do it.

Hearing about y’all’s plans for the WarHams channel and how that is cancelled is like hoping in a time machine and getting sent back just in time to watch the library of Alexandria burn. It’s a shame y’all don’t fuck with war hammer anymore, I get why and hope y’all keep making content no matter the setting

When it rains it pours apparently, sucks that this had to happen when you were coming up on a year of Warhams, had sort of wondered if it would be alright for you to keep going as you were doing everything within one of their own spin-off games, but suppose it’s probably best for you to assume the worst when it comes to the new rules like Alfa. Wonder if this means Rimmy can’t make any more WH40k Arma mod videos too, or if YouTube game reviewers are not allowed to make warhammer video game reviews anymore cause they’re an income source. Do you have to change the channel name and logo now too?

I cant say Im happy with this choice but I know its not one you guys make lightly I really loved what Warhams was becoming and its heartbreaking to see the changes you have to make to keep your pride Ill make my choice when you lay out your plan for the future but i think i speak for a lot of people when I say we really are upset by the loss of the warhams 40k and fantasy characters

So at some point are we going to need to shift to another patreon or will it be the same...? Ive never been on patreon before and I want to make sure I stick with you guys through the change. Yall are a blast, and im excited to see what you guys do next.

I'm looking forward to your creative output moving forward despite the bad taste left in everyone's mouthes from GW. Keep having fun, it's always great popping open the VODs while I work on other stuff.

Whether or not GW realize how they have damaged their reputation with the community, I'm excited to see everyone's creativity with more open settings.

I'm sitting in a Cyber Security class right now, if in 8 months when I'm done I get my self a job making the industry average I'm gonna change my pledge to both Warhams and Alpha to $40 each.
