GotSIS: The X-Fate

Hey everyone! I need your opinion for a very particular, very important thing, that would decide the fate of GotSIS's story line going ahead.

So, in the past, I have overwhelmently denied the inclusion of the X-men in the GotSIS Universe, one of which was the fact that they're messy, overly-complicated, too many in number, and most importantly, I thought there was no way to include them due to all the above listed factors.

But, right now, in the dab middle of studying for my important exam (which is tomorrow), and hitting my head against the wall, I... figured it out. A storyline--- vague, rough skeleton that would allow me to include the X-men into this Universe. And once it came, so came quite a few ideas, which I found interesting.

Right now, I am still torn, because, yes, they're messy and complicated, but now, since I have a plan, I am positive that I could figure out their inclusion. The long term still remains a slight problem, but I figured that Harry doesn't need to be in every event for them, just the ones that fall in hand with the rest of my story.

Also, I do love upping the stakes and adding all the awesomeness that I can into a story. And the X-men, or mutants to be specific, do have quite a few crossovers with magic or the thing that Sorcerers handle. Juggernaut (who derives his power from Cyttorak), Jean Grey (Who is a host for the Phoenix force), Scarlet Witch (Chthon), and even Selene, who is every bit of a magical match for Harry, if not the Ancient One too.

Plus, the X-men have had more than one stint with magic, which does help me. Alongside the fact that they do fit the world view that the Ancient One has been on about since Harry arrived: The Earth is on the brink of evolution and humanity is on the verge of standing with the peers of greater power.

Mutants go hand in hand with it.

So... what are your thoughts about including mutants in the story?
