HUNTER 1.0

Hey, everybody!

I have prepared a closed alpha version of the project.
As you know, this version shows the basic mechanics of the project and this version is a demo.

As already described in the project roadmap, all stages of development are broken down into several phases. The task of the current version is to become the foundation on which the project will be based.
I believe that the foundation is quite solid and has all the important functions that can be multiplied in the future.

In order to save time, there is no introductory section at this time. I will add it later to create a full-fledged introduction. But you already know the plot of the game and I think you won't have any problems with understanding what's going on.

To make it easier to understand, I've added journal notes "J". There I have also indicated the known bugs which are postponed for later builds.
I tried to test the bugs in different ways and achieved stable operation. But this does not exclude possible bugs, after all this is alpha and I hope you will not be too picky.

In my opinion there are not enough sex scenes in the game. But again this is done as a demonstration. Because all the sex scenes will be tied to different objects and your Android is not the main sexual partner. He's only a temporary comfort.

The main events will occur with the emergence of the Aboriginal village. This will add more things for crafting, combat weapons, NPC for sex and so on.

Actually I have already described this in detail and again the roadmap shows all the stages of development. At the moment you can have an idea of the project as a whole and I am waiting for your thoughts on it.

I also plan to add multiplayer to the project. But it will be done later, after the stable version is finished.

At the moment the project cannot be downloaded on the website, only technical information is provided there. I will be posting updates here shortly. And until the release of more less stable version in the project can and will apply some changes. Therefore, I do not exclude such a situation that your saves in the game may become inoperable. But I think you understand it perfectly well without me.
But I tried to take into account many points to reduce this risk as much as possible.

Minimum Requirements:
Windows 10, Intel Core i5, 8 GB, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580

A note just in case: You can only have sex on objects you create (in the current build it's Shelter). You can't fuck an android in the bush :))))))
The exception is the starting quest where you need to collect a broken Android. In that case you can bang her in any state.

Okay, I forgot to mention earlier and will edit the article for that:

The "First Steps" tutorial quest is limited to weapon creation. This is done intentionally, because the progress of the game is much more than the realization of the first version. And to finish the development of some elements, the quest is made deliberately not feasible.
As you understand, at this point it is important to finish the implementation of all mechanics and quests are not an important part of gameplay.
The second quest "Skaromar Islands" is also unfulfillable. Because the village is currently unavailable. But in order not to make a lot of changes to the structure of the project, the initial part of the quest remained available. It is not worth paying attention to it.

Put wood or other combustible material (e.g. grass or leaves). This will be enough to start a fire. If you add meat to the fire, it will brown. If you leave the meat in the fire for a long time, it will burn to ashes. The fire itself is controlled by "Turn ON" - "Turn OFF" on the campfire interface.

Hey man I just wanted to let you know that running the current demo of The Hunter triggers "Space War" on steam, which can make it look like someone is playing a pirated game, The Henry Stickman game used to do this too but I think they fixed it.

I Love what you have done so far, i only have one Idea i wanted to add: when you scan maybe make it that you get a rought direction indication for the ones that are blind for hints (Like myself). (I searched half an hour before i spottet the Android XD)

Unfortunately I couldn't bypass the quest because the game is made much bigger than it is in the release and I didn't manage to cut everything so that there would be no problems in the future. Therefore, I decided to limit the execution of the quest until the village appears. The village will appear in the second part of the project. Each part of the project I have described in the roadmap. I will try to make each part complete and each update will be an addition and not a rework. That's why I try to make each part final.

Just to add my two cents here: It is a promising start and about as polished as any modern AAA title xD Performance is ... lacking... but playable and thus good enough for now. Having some sort of roadmap of what can be done now would be great, just so you don't end up trying to work around a quest that can't be completed yet :) It didn't crash once during about an hour of play time in that regard its even better than most modern AAA titles :)

Thank you. My biggest concern was the optimization of the project. I had to sacrifice some elements of the game for the sake of the game not being too demanding on iron. In the near future I will make a few updates that were not added to the initial release due to time constraints. The project is developed much more than what I have published. But it doesn't have a clear picture yet and needs a lot of mappings and testing. For this reason, I have gotten the first part of the project working optimally and will be adding to it as I test the missing elements.

The torch is added and used from the hotbar via drag and drop or right-click. It is used with hotkeys that are assigned by default to 1,2,3..... You can show or remove the hotbar by pressing the "H" key.

Yes, I edited the article. I already mentioned it in the comments above. I forgot to mention it in the description. The quests are made impossible on purpose. To continue the quest you need to make a baton that is blocked on purpose, so as not to start a chain of events.

So far, it's just Windows. MAC requires the game to be created only on the MAC platform. I have no possibility to compile the project for this platform now.

Yes. You're absolutely right. I forgot to say that I deliberately stopped the quests. The Scaramar Islands will show you the cave (which is now closed, where the torches are). Then the quests should introduce you to the village.

It would be nice to have more detail as to which quests have been implemented. Lost android completed successfully. First steps stalled on craft and equip weapon, as the only weapon is the torch and it doesn't trigger the quest. I'm guessing it triggers off of the combat weapons that aren't implemented yet. I can't get scaramar islands to start. Not sure if I have the wrong big island, but I'm guessing the quest is for leading you to the aboriginal village which isn't implemented yet. So the quests only take around 10 minutes to reach the end of the demo, but you can still explore and the visual and game mechanics look good so far.
