FARM and FUTURE UPDATE

Hi guys!

A few words about the current progress in our work and our plans...

FARM
We changed the structure of the farm. Now you can create additional sectors for the cultivation of unique food products. These products will not go into food, they will need to be grown to produce new products (wine, beer, etc.)

Given that the new sectors differ in their work from the existing ones (another development and work system), the old sectors will change their functions, but the principle of operation will remain the same and you will not lose your progress.

Now, the old sectors will participate as additional reinforcements of the base farm ("Extensions" in the picture on the left).
New sectors will have a completely different meaning. They will be built separately and developed according to a new principle (in the picture on the right). But I will explain this later, when the addition will be ready.


FUTURE UPDATE
Now the important question. We understand that the development takes a lot of time, and a lot of new elements still have to be done (police, spaceport, intergalactic market) I will not talk about colonist management and statistics in the administration building. All this takes a lot of time.

At the moment, the changes have affected the whole game and we can’t download even a small update, because this will require updating the launcher and all the files.

Thus, we want to release a global update earlier than planned to be able to make changes in the development process and not locally.
This will be the new structure of the game, with new content. All your progress will remain unchanged and all other changes will occur gradually, in separate service packs.

We divided the city system in such a way that you did not have to wait long (when there are related elements, you have to wait until all the parts influencing each other are developed).
For example. Version 2.1 will include the Cosmodrome and the Intergalactic Market. And version 2.2 will include a new system of fractions and professions with a colonist control system.

I think it will be convenient for everyone. We are planning a global update (version 2.0) next month.

If you have an opinion on this, we will be glad to see him. Also, if you are against such a separation of parts, then be sure to let us know.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but we are full of energy :)

Another mistake. The game does not provide above 10 levels. You can make level 90, but the functionality will be like that of level 10. Perhaps programmers did not take into account some combinations of the system.

ahhhh...ahhhh. Thank you Nick Davey. How do you close a bank? I would LOVE to close my bank, and start anew. But it is NOT possible. I assume if you withdraw all your credits, you still have a bank with a zero credit balance. You still have a bank. Can I withdraw all my credits? NO. I have a odd 5 credits in my account. You can only withdraw multiples of 10. So if you have less than 10 credits they remain forever, unremovable, untouchable.

Hello! The system did not send you the code because you already have the activated code before. Use the account on which you have already activated the code. The system makes all changes to the account on which the code is activated.

if a button you mean an easier path to the breeding area, or selecting several colonists at once then that would be lovely, been asking about that for months and we still don't have it, maybe in 2.0+

Just a suggestion, but would it be possible to do a "temporary" assign because I keep most of my male members working in the mines or farming and every day during the breeding hour it becomes. 1. Go to Farm 2. Cancel everyone's work order 3. Go to Hostel 4. Send to Allocation 5. Breed 6. Go to Hostel 7. Send them to Allocation 8. Send them back 9. Put them back to work. Repeat for Mine. if maybe there was a temporary button like in the hostel like: Send Male A to Breeding Center and then when you're done you go to hostel in the area and click "Return to Farm" Sorry if it was wordy, wasn't sure how to write it and it's a small thing just more a quality of life because it takes so much time.

I'm just gonna say I'm glad you're breaking the development up into smaller modules. It should be obvious from the overall sentiment of the comments that most people have given up from the slow dev progress. A more regular update stream will help people be more engaged.

there already are for Human and Sirian, however i'm guessing you're thinking of the hybrids, and yes it would be a lot better to have a sorting system for hybrids as well including future races that will be implemented. The percentage system doesn't add to anything since no quest wants you to have a 30% sirian, 70% human, they just want you to have a hybrid.

Looks promising, been a long while since the last update and given the chance we can test around with the new part and come back with feedback if it's needed. On that note I might come back full time if it seems developed enough to keep me working. I'll still pop in on patreon and check on the wiki if things needs to be changed. I understand things have been long and tough for everyone, lots of problems, many small and big updates like the bank system, but fixes and more poses. But it keeps the game alive. And hopefully it won't stop. I'm sure with the new system it will open up more space for easier updating and more creativity

Cool, half year was spent for farm module, great job! What next, two years for new quest? When we can see finished product, after five, eight, twelve years?

Percentage is fine for sorting, but when it comes to breeding for quests or increased breeder skill levels, a species sort option would be nice, if at all possible.

Glad to hear you've been able to modularize it better! Keep up the good work!

I have 4 suggestions. None are major problems but they would help reduce some of the more frustrating parts of the game. 1. an explicit label on humans that identifies whether they are Asian or European ( I'm color deficient and struggle seeing the difference in skin tones). 2. a more specific sorting system ( such as by a specific race or hair color). 3. I would like the Monk to have exclusively hybrid quests as it would make it a lot easier to unload the huge number of extra hybrids you receive when breeding for freaks. That or increase the number of possible quests per day. ( between Rourke and the Monk I seem to get a large majority of human quests). 4. playing Rourke's mini game 3 times a day gets tedious. I would prefer getting rewarded on just the first daily try with a larger reward Other than these and losing connection with the servers I have no other complaints. Keep up the good work. This game is awesome!

So if i read right, there should be an update next month. If that for sure or a maybe ? Because there seem to be alot of work to do.

A farm is required for other modules to work. Also, the old system works in a different way. If we make changes to the old system, this will affect the current progress. Therefore, we added additional functions to the farm.

Why focus on the farm instead of interesting content? You've already reworked the farm a couple times.

Yes. This is useful for festivals. But it will be available in a separate addition. Festivals require a new fraction system.
