Power's back!
Added 2023-12-22 05:50:55 +0000 UTC4 days of no power was pretty awful, but it's back and everything's put back together.
I'll get the ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sketch Suggestions post up tomorrow, and draw over the weekend.
Thanks for the well wishes, everybody. I didn't really have time in the middle of it to reply to them but it was really nice to read while finding new layers of clothes to double up.
On the third day we got our hands on a little 1 gallon portable generator, and it was enough to run my space heater and get it up to like 50F in the one room we were all in. Tonight was supposed to be the coldest night this week though, so it's really lucky it came back on before dark.
I've been out of power for a couple days after a hurricane in the past, but never had to deal with the cold for multiple days.
Anyway, hopefully now that this storm took down all these trees, we won't have another nasty outage later in the winter!

4 days is nuts! Had that happen to me a few years ago. Lived on a little portable generator, too~ Glad power and heat are back!

At least we had access to gallons of water at stores to like flush toilets etc. After a hurricane down in FL, usually everywhere is totally out of water and you have to like, find it out. It's bad lol. but yeah, situation normal once again!
