Added 2021-02-06 20:51:05 +0000 UTCHey! So, here's some more! Again they're just first drafts, but they're coming along! These buddies are generally larger than the ones from yesterday, and there's now a stack of Pockoon's for scale nearby.
I'm considering the stoazap/weaselec/whatever it's called for the rachel replacement.
EDIT : also, I CANNOT accept suggestions for NAMES for the characters, as much as i'd like to.
EDIT 2: I can't take elaborate or detailed suggestions. Basically, just a real world animal you think would be cool if i created a character based on. I really appreciate your enthusiasm, and look forward to hearing what kind of creatures you would like seeing. A spider! A kangaroo! A Shark! A Big Centipede!

As for the suggestions, i generally make a post for patrons in specific tiers to comment in on thursdays, and choose from them on thursdays. The one that includes your tier happened last week, but since you just showed up and are so nice i'll see what i can do regardless. And i appreciate it, but at the moment commissions are closed. When they open again there will be a post here, though, announcing it.

2021-02-12 13:53:55 +0000 UTCWhen I first saw your work I was absolutely captivated by how you took perfect command of the biology of water creatures, in expression through face and pose and of course anatomy. When I'd heard what happened I was outraged but thoroughly impressed by your response so of course I had to finally join as a patron it was long overdue ANYWAYS water creatures: I love the concept of the soarophin fellow, and staying above the water (albeit via puffs of air) was reminiscent of a flying fish in my mind, which I think is neat! As for a suggestion, I'm not quite sure...a big burly walrus fellow comes to mind. Perhaps the tusks would be powerful but sensitive? I'm not sure; that's the best I've got. Lastly, I'm not certain how this all works, but I have interest in commissioning you as well!

2021-02-11 02:41:15 +0000 UTCAt the moment, the system is Egg > Baby Form > Adult Form > optional Ascended forms, with the transition from one form to the next being instant. The horse was meant to be small-ish, so that it could meaningfully interact with Frozunny-size creatures. A big horsey horse buddy is far too big for them, but i still need to have them around for larger creatures. So while most of the pufalloosa's would probably choose to stay as they are, some would pursue larger, stronger bodies.

I'd rather make new stories with new fun situations. But there will be content similar to the mouse hole in the future, of course.

It's really flattering to hear people like the designs enough to draw them, let alone want to make their own characters based on the species. The designs aren't final, though, so i'd ask people to hold off until that point.

Like, it's not entirely identical from one individual to another; while they all have the same cloudy texture, some would look more straight or like regular hair and others more curly or so. Would be a cool quirk!

Even if we offer the suggestions to him, we're technically the 'creators' of the name and would have legal standing to slap him down if he used the name even with our permission if we change our mind somewhere down the road. 'Properly' giving him exclusive access to the names would require a lot of legal mumbo jumbo.

I'd welcome either approach, just curious as it might change my perspective on the concepts. For example, I don't like the horse's big-headed proportions (so far) *unless* it's meant to be a pony that evolves into something more horsey. And I wouldn't be that surprised if good ol' froggo here was related to the gecko from last batch.
