Pockoon and Pelagice
Added 2021-02-04 21:24:27 +0000 UTCAlright! I took some of the feedback i got from you guys, and spent some more time on these. I'm pretty happy with both of them.
The Pelagice colorscheme took a long time to settle on, and i changed the shape language of the marking to better match the ear fins. I know they're not really something you see in nature, but she's like, an icy water dragon, a bit of fantasy is okay i think.
Anyway, i'm about to post these publicly, and reiterate my plans to use Ch3 as the bones for the new comic.
They're still a little subject to change, but i'm pretty happy with these designs!

2021-02-05 01:19:55 +0000 UTCI just realized it would make a TON of sense if that big fluffy tail had an actual pouch, maybe with the opening at the top near the base of the tail? That way they could(from an evolutionary standpoint) collect food in the fall, and then in the spring they could have their babies hide in there and literally watch Mom's back while she forges. Just a thought of course.

2021-02-04 23:05:02 +0000 UTCGreyish is definitely a plausible color at least. Lots of sea creatures use it. Even in the sea, biome determines color. Bluish Grey in deep water, chalk white if DEEP underwater, brown-green for marshes and swamps, browns and blacks for most muddy lakes, and of course RAINBOW for coral reefs.
