Quick Update on Map Tiles

I just wanted to reach out and give a quick status up date on the Map Tiles.
TL;DR Version:
I ran into some technical/software limitation and I'm working on getting them resolved, but should have a small batch (12 or so) tiles available this weekend.
The Weeds:
The process of creating a pipeline that can accommodate multiple grids, alternate colors, and handle future modifications efficiently across hundreds of map tiles has proven as difficult as one might imagine.
I'm currently in the frustrating situation where all of the art for the base generic dungeon tile set is done, but the method I'd used to make the files easily editable has resulted in unsustainable export times (roughly a minute per tile) which starts to get crazy once you're exporting hundreds of tiles (base tile set w/ grid, set w/o grid, each color adjustment, etc etc).
I've spent the last few evenings trying to find a solution and I still don't really have a satisfactory one.
Just to keep things rolling I'm gonna put out smaller base set by this weekend which will cover basic hallways, basic corners, and some basic room/dead ends. Behind the scenes I'll keep plugging away at sorting out a sustainable pipeline, and plan to release additional tiles that build upon the base set as I go.

2017-06-10 11:11:52 +0000 UTCSome advice, check out the map tiles from the game Zombiecide. They have a way of being generally interchangeable but still unique. Might help inspire you, though I know it is no easy task. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
