v.0.20 Pseudo Preview (I) - DnD Characters
Added 2024-08-05 11:08:50 +0000 UTCI redid the character portraits that Emma drew on every character sheet. Why? Because of two reasons:
The character portrait I did some time ago for the MC doesn't fit perfectly with his description (and I lost the file, even if I later found it).
The old character portraits were too realistic. It's Emma who is drawing them, not Lisa or Maddie, and even if she had some talent, doing them with photorealistic quality doesn't fit her character (nor her patience). I think something more comic book style fits her better.
Who is who?
Emma (Paula) is a Vesta aasimar paladin (not a Vestal virgin, though). The reason to play an aasimar (daughter of a human and an angel) is that it's the only race that can have pink eyes.
Erika (Aelia) is a tiefling (daughter of a devil and a human) rogue (assassin). There's a story about why she plays that character, but I'll let Erika explain it in the next chapter.
Daphne (Pia) is a half-elf Vulcanus cleric.
Maddie (Fang) plays a human ranger with an interesting background that will fit the group's needs. She was born to refugee parents, in the province of Siria.
Scarlett (Beagan) is a faery sorceress from Britannia, known, with Hibernia (Ireland), as "The Isles" once the Empire lost access to the Mare Britannicum (English Channel).
The MC (Vilfredo) is a half-elf (half-drow) rogue. His background will be explained during the game.

2024-08-06 16:31:25 +0000 UTCIt's been 600 years since the non-consensual sex. The rest of the genetic pool is human, so Emma drew him with almost human ears and skin tone. The MC, in his imagination (how we will see the game), will see him with a darker (human) skin tone instead of a bluish one.

The price for it was one less spell (of the second highest level the character has access to) Tieflings are 4th Ed but with human-like eyes instead of solid orbs (Erika wanted her character to look beautiful). The price was that she had to choose TWO visible tiefling characteristics. She chose horns and a tail.

2024-08-05 12:45:17 +0000 UTCThanks! Tieflings in 4th Ed. could have human skin color. Since Daphne allowed some home rules for Scarlett's fairy, she allowed Erika's skin from a previous edition. And Emma's eyes were not rolled, she chose an Aasimar because it was the only playable race that could have pink eyes.
