A music teacher from my high school had a story about the organ in the music building at I think Indiana State IIRC. You weren’t allowed to pull out all the stops (a phrase which comes from organ playing, BTW), and once time a student ignored this rule and pulled out all the stops and it blew a fuse and killed the power in the building.
