Definitely an invasion of the Boddy snatchers theme. I love those films esp the Donald Sutherland version and despite this episode getting a bad rap from the fandom over the years I really enjoy it.

I was thinking the same thing that it's an iconic shot of the scooby core & an interesting angle of the library HQ Also love that they're holding their eggs in this shot of 'Bad Eggs' what a weird but fun monster of the week episode!

2024-12-05 17:23:48 +0000 UTCIt’s not a favorite, but it’s a fun watch! I remember initially not liking this episode, but it’s grown on me a lot over the years. X-Files is very Monster of the Week-y, it’s what they do best tbh. They actually do have different types of horror/sci-fi themes, it’s not just aliens. It would be so fun for you to react to one episode just to see what the vibes are.

It’s very hit or miss but I always liked this one 😁 you’ve probably already heard but starting with the next episode there’s a bit of a narrative shift with the show, you’ll understand once you see it.. many Buffy fans view 2x13 as the episode that really kicks the show into what it’s known for

I always forget this is the episode where we meet Lyle cos there's so much going on lol Duke said OKAY LETS WRAP THIS UP! lmaooo. Joss is def a fan of the Alien franchise, he wrote Alien Resurrection lol (He has famously HATED how it was directed/executed lol) Not sure how you feel about that one but I know how some people might feel about it lol Another reason why Sigourney shows up in Cabin In The Woods.
