2024-11-30 23:26:56 +0000 UTC1. I watched this show when it premiered. I was 4 at the time. By season 2 I was 5. I wanted to be Spikes Drusilla then just like I want to be now at 32 π 2. I have seen reactors be annoyed about Buffy complaining. I donβt get it. Itβs realistic to not just get over something like being THE CHOSEN ONE!! 3. This episode shows why you should watch all the two parters together. Itβs sooo worth it 4. Iβm glad youβre enjoying the show so much and the puppy is too cute!

2024-11-30 18:37:50 +0000 UTCThey did explain what happened to Drusilla in a couple of passing lines. Buffy was in the library the morning after she saw Angel with Dru at the park. Giles was explaining who she was and how she was killed by an angry mob in Prague. Buffy then told him that Dru is very much alive and that she had spotted her the night prior.

2024-11-30 18:37:43 +0000 UTCAs far as people getting annoyed about Buffy's struggles with being a slayer/being a normal girl, I don't think anyone was really annoyed by it. If there were it wasn't an overwhelming majority or anything like that. This is something that definitely continues through out the entire series in different ways, especially as she grows and gets older. Although she does adjust to it being her responsibility, it literally affects so many aspects in her life she has to find a way to navigate it in a way that her friends do not. I think they do a really good job of showing what's it like to be in her shoes in contrast to those who are apart of the gang and help out but ultimately still get to have a semblance of a normal life compared to Buffy.
