The World Shifts As A Door Opens | Two People: Despina Prequel Series P4 | Audio Roleplay [F4M]

The day has been gruellingly long. Although you looked forward to the spectacle of human feasts, you felt it rather boring. Nothing caught your eye other than a certain little wallflower. She’s a funny little thing precariously looking around making sure no one sees her sneak a grape off the table. Although most would revel in the limelight, she’d rather shrink away. A feeling perhaps shared between the both of you. You both share a birthright that is most taxing, although she may not know it yet. As the night winds down, you are reminded of the book Despina mentioned. You set off to her room to ask for it and for a conversation. You want to know more about her books and about her. You remind yourself that you are merely curious due to the nature of your mission. But is that really true?

Hi there! Despina is back once again! I really enjoy writing for this series and enjoy fleshing out more of the world through Ardor and Despina’s story. In this audio we start out after the feast thrown for Ardor. Although he doesn’t find much interest of joy in it. We begin by reading two chapters from Two People and Ardor’s annotations. You’ll get to learn more about the magic of the human realm, and more about Ardor’s mission. Much of the episode is dedicated to learning more about Despina’s interests, and about Targethon. I really hope you enjoy this and Despina’s story! She’s definitely one of my favourite characters and I’m excited to flesh her out in this series. Thank you again for being so patient and kind! I hope you enjoy!

So nice to hear more from little Despina! This one does challenge my perceptions of Ardor. I still believe he's a major bad guy. But his seemingly genuine kindness towards Despina in little things suddenly makes him kind of sympathetic. (Though his interest in her is still rather dubious.) For no very good reason other than both being ambivalent he makes me think of the father from the 52nd fragment.
