Seeds Take Root
Added 2018-09-12 06:56:49 +0000 UTCOur recently completed arc in our rp group had so many interesting concepts and visuals, it got me incredibly inspired to draw. It inspired me with a lot of concepts like plants as disease and forced mutation. Doesn't that just sound tantalizing? I've always found a lot of inspiration from surreal concepts like this, certain aspects reminded me of the movie Annihilation and the game The Last Of Us, with all it's planty body horror! You can see snippets from this campaign in my guild tag.
Annnnnd onto this image. Once slain, our antagonist was dissected by my morbidly curious necromancer. Once done with his cadaver she decided his mutated skull would be fitting tribute to our leader. She's a bit creepy like that. To make it pretty she went ahead and planted blue violets in there, to also stand as a symbol of her loyalty to her new found Court.
And once I had thought up the image... I had to paint it. <3
