It really just screams "Nobody can do a job as good as a white male straight christian can do it" If people *ACTUALLY* cared about the most competent person being hired and promoted that would naturally result in greater diversity to reflect the hiring population not less and even then consistently a diversity of perspectives is a resource that should not be overlooked.
