Die Shrink 135 (Video): RTX 5000 & RDNA 4 Delays - How do we feel?

So at this point it seems almost entirely confirmed that at a minimum AMD does not presently plan to launch RDNA 4 in a meaningful way in 2024...and at the same time the Nvidia Blackwell release rumors have also been all over the place throughout the year - how do we all feel about that? Are you sad Nvidia's dragging their feet and AMD seems unwilling to launch RDNA 4 before RDNA 3 stock clears? Also just in general - how has this year felt so far?

0:00 Goofy talk, 2024 delays and PS5 Pro (intro)

7:13 This is one of the most annoying years for PC hardware

16:10 8800XT delay, AMD’s RDNA launches

I'm sure you guys will talk about Arrow Lake on the next one. I just saw 1) the performance regression/stagnation 2) that the guy in Intel's presentation video said something like "we lower power consumption to give us headroom for the future" I am worried about the second one, as if Arrow Lake Refresh doesn't have architectural improvements, it'll just be 300W again (hopefully without grilling the ring bus). Why would Intel foreshadow using more power in the future?

Crash Games Cr&Mc 2

I am sure he will be back, probably within the next 6 months - let's see how ARL and Zen 5 develop over the next few months.
