Build 0.01 of News desk! Public release of Hall monitor 0.07!

Hey everyone!

The first build of News desk is up for you guys to peruse. It has the start of the intro, the “tutorial” first battle, the end of the intro and a demo of what it will look when you have more powerful cards and stats to play with. The back end is solid and I haven’t seen any bugs in a while so make sure to tell me if you see one.

I would like to hear any comments (good or bad) that you have about the base gameplay as it will be much easier to make changes at the start of the project than later on. Big or small, I welcome your comments and will think on your input.

Sadly, you guys will have to put up with my amateurish placement art skill for this one as my lovely wife didn’t managed to finish the UI art. It should be there for V0.02, though.

I also enclosed a tutorial txt file so that you guys will not be lost as there are no actual tutorial in the game yet. I think it’s a pretty easy read but if you have problems, just PM me and I’ll help you.

- 40 cards for YOU.

- The battle system in general.

Next week, I’ll start working on the town part of the game. That’s where you’ll be able to have events to get new cards, remove cards from your deck, upgrade cards, gain resources, gain allies, and (of course) get to have sexy events with Cassandra and/or her daughter Tiffany.
