A major focus will be their market strategies, and why are they are playing such a hardcore game of chicken with each other. This will be recorded within 24 hours, so put your questions down quickly. Be concise, use good grammar, and above all else - aim to be thoughtful and insightful in your questions and comments. You may just have your letter read on air!

Why are the monitors so behind in comparison to TV's and get a lot of delays when new technology introduced? I.E the 32 inch 144hz , the oled 4k from Dell , 27 inch 144hz from acer and asus.

2020-09-09 06:05:20 +0000 UTCXbox just revealed their XSS on Twitter, priced at 299$ and €. What do you guys think will this mean for PS5 and XSX pricing? And now that Xbox revealed their first price for a console, how long will it take for Sony to respond?

2020-09-08 10:17:29 +0000 UTCAny news on the "expensive" ps5 cooling or when there will be a teardown?

2020-09-08 09:05:24 +0000 UTCAn extreme simplification of the 9th Generation: do games sell systems better than systems sell games?

2020-09-08 07:54:36 +0000 UTCRunning games in native resolutions should become a thing of the past - regardless of current console marketing. Where do you see a potential difference between the two strategies in terms of upscaling tech, and how each approach could be marketed?
2020-09-08 05:56:53 +0000 UTCHi. If the rumours of Xbox prices at 299 and 499USD are correct, how drastic would it change the current status quo, or NVidia's attempt at staving off gamers to jump from PC gaming to console gaming?
2020-09-08 04:36:09 +0000 UTCSorry for being a bit greedy to ask two question at once. 1. Will Xbox gamepass end the monopoly of steam on PC? 2. If gamepass is the future , is it a future we want to be living in?

2020-09-08 03:52:02 +0000 UTCAnd solid news on 120hz for either consoles yet?
2020-09-08 01:54:56 +0000 UTCDiscuss how RTX I/O relates to both Microsoft and Sony's differing SSD strategies.
2020-09-08 01:14:30 +0000 UTCSince Microsoft is releasing all first party games for both console and PC and direct storage isn't coming until 2021 are we not going to see xbox using any advanced ssd to GPU tech till then? Or will the xbox tech do it without the need for PC to have direct storage?

2020-09-07 22:58:26 +0000 UTCWill there be 10Gb Ethernet on the nextgen consoles? I’m sure it’s cheap enough now since most motherboards now have this standard. Cheers
2020-09-07 22:37:05 +0000 UTCAside from price and the Series S, does Microsoft Xbox have any other possible points of leverage?

2020-09-07 22:17:06 +0000 UTCGiven how both of you are pretty bullish on Microsoft's apparent move towards more of a cross platform service, do you think we might see a simultaneous reveal of Xbox Series S *and* a gaming focused Surface at the next Xbox event, even if neither device launches alongside the Series X?

2020-09-07 21:47:13 +0000 UTCIt feels like the console war is a specs war rather than which console is the most fun and innovates. Where are the days when Nintendo was delivering Wii making games more dynamic and engaging? Can we expect something new from Sony and Microsoft to replace Kinect/Move?
2020-09-07 21:47:00 +0000 UTCThis time around the consoles come into market where many owners of the previous gen consoles have stacked up their game library (of which they haven't played for the most part) through subscriptions. The ever extending library is an asset people are probably wanting to hold on to. I assume the console choice - for the most part - for old owners is determined by their existing game library. The new customers to the console market would by whichever has more mindshare (what the kid next door will buy) & marketing. Fanboys aside: How badly one console would have to to screw up to make people switch to the other platform? And on the other hand what kind of shiny and revolutionary things should the OTHER team need to present to switch platforms? Especially when you have 200 unfinished games you have already subscribed to own? So what would tip the scales big time for Sony or MS when it comes to tech itself?
2020-09-07 21:43:33 +0000 UTCIt seems like the belief is that the Series S will be announced and released this holiday along side the Series X. Do you think that there's a chance that this doesn't happen, and that the Series S is actually set for a 2021 release?

2020-09-07 21:19:38 +0000 UTCDo you think Nvidia showcasing the RTX 3090 running 8k games was a jab at consoles? Because I am not certain the RTX 3080 with it's 10gb of GDDR6x could do the same.
2020-09-07 21:17:41 +0000 UTCThe wifi 6 support in PS5 might be quite useful for VR. Thoughts?

2020-09-07 21:15:28 +0000 UTCI think the various companies simply got so wrapped up in one part of a strategy that they both forgot the entire rest of it. It can happen if companies tunnel vision on one thing too much.
