2023-03-11 12:41:54 +0000 UTC--- All the members did it, but the close-up shot of Soojin's lipstick smear is iconic. The way her lip just quivered at the climactic part of that song is just incredible performance on her part. --- Soyeon's brain must be protected at all costs. The original song is a plain and simple ballad, but she really did an outstanding job in remixing it and envisioning a stage performance of it. --- Yuqi and Soyeon's debate was actually a very good segment. It says a lot about Soyeon's leadership that, even though she's the leader and the main producer for the group, she still listened to Yuqi's concerns and persuaded her with the merits of her idea. A Korean business professor actually wrote an online article about it that Soyeon could've easily played her Leader Card on her foreigner maknae, but she didn't. When you have that kind of leadership, there's a ton of buy-in from the members. And the cool thing is that both were right. Yuqi was correct to say that a B-side wouldn't be familiar to the general public. But IMO, Soyeon was seeing beyond just competing in Queendom. She saw it as an opportunity to show off Idle's creativity and ability to put out a stage that no other group would even think to do. I think she had the correct guidance in the long run for the group.

2023-03-11 09:09:23 +0000 UTCI absolutely adored this episode of Queendom, especially the put it straight (Say No) performance from I-DLE, and it's been fun re-experiencing the show with you both. Its an incredible stage. The Queendom camerawork actually misses a ton of things by zooming in and I would highly recommending viewing the 4k Fixed Cam version. IDLE and MAMAMOO performances solidfied me as a stan if i wasnt already when I watched this for the first time. Impressed by Jimin, like always, PUSS haha Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent for days.
