Work in Progress (Elf Commission)
Added 2019-06-20 14:40:36 +0000 UTCHey guys. Here's the work in progress snaps for this piece. This one is slightly less complete than my normal WIPs, because I had some severe software troubles due to shear size of this piece.
As usual, I start off with my usual rough drawing. You'll notice my original vision was to have them walking over a hill with the country side in the background. But that changed through the process to look more like them walking on a cliff with other cliffs behind them.
Here I did the linework, basic colours and some very basic shading, just to establish the light source.
Here I did more detailed shading and lighting. The armor was a bit of a challenge for me, but after a few helpful youtube tutorials, I think I managed pretty well.
Here I mostly finished with all the details on the characters and background.
Sorry for this one being so empty, but it really was the best I could do
