2023-10-18 18:21:40 +0000 UTCNow that you've reached the end of the season, I think Daki and Gyutaro's weapons as demons are somewhat symbolic or connected to something that defined them in their past lives - the sickle and the obi. Also, remember Daki's PTSD flashback when fighting Nezuko? That was her trauma of being burnt alive resurfacing. It's a detail that people can forget by the point they get to the last episode. Akaza is my personal favorite Upper Moon, so yes Sonny I get your liking for him! Daki and Gyutaro are also pretty high for me, mainly due to their bond and backstory.

2023-10-18 14:13:57 +0000 UTCBtw Gyutaro was still a demon, because he really was murderer and evil person even before he was demon, so he was going to hell. But Yume had never killed anybody so her kills as a demon didn't count that is why she was in her human form and chance for heaven, but chose to follow her brother. Now to wait for season 3 and be prepared for season 3 episode 1 being double length, just heads up for that.

2023-10-18 04:59:30 +0000 UTCOne thing that really sets Demon Slayer apart from other anime is how it manages to humanize the villains (or in this case, demons) without condoning their actions, and this episode was a great example of that! Tanjiro always showing empathy towards is refreshing too, really sets him apart from most protagonists!
