2022-06-01 16:26:46 +0000 UTCSo far my favorite thing about this series is how it’s using Obi-Wan’s fall from grace as a way to thematically bring the vibe of the Star Wars universe from the sleek and shiny 90’s prequels back down to the gritty and grimy smoky bar scene’s 70’s original. I’ve always preferred the OG stuff, but as Kat said there’s a corniness there that is difficult to balance with more serious storylines. There were a few “convenient”scenes, like how Obi magically teleported down from the roof full of bounty hunters to see Leia after saving her, but overall it’s looking good! Oh and ps, and I genuinely mean this as a compliment, Kat with the pregnant belly and Mulletesque haircut is giving off southern trailer park badass vibes in the best way possible!
